Crimea Medal with Sevastopol clasp
A campaign medal issued to officers and men of British units which fought against Russia between March 1854 and August 1856. Five clasps were authorised including Sevastopol – this was awarded to those that were involved in the siege that lasted from 11 September 1854 to 9 September 1855. Anyone who received the Balaklava or Inkerman clasps were also awarded this clasp. The ribbon is pale blue with yellow edges.
